Meet
Jeff Harrell Jeff Harrell serves as Spirae's Director of Sales and Marketing, and is based in Fort
Collins, Colorado. Jeff brings fourteen years of global experience with early to mid-stage technologies, at
both start-ups and large corporations, including Nortel Networks and Agilent Technologies. He has
contributed to those businesses in a wide variety of roles, from applications and sales engineering to
technical marketing and product management. Jeff has traveled extensively through the Americas, Europe, and
Asia to build business through competitive evaluations and customer engagement, and has helped to develop
global sales and applications teams through mentoring, training, and collaboration.
Since joining the company in early 2007, Jeff has helped grow Spirae's business and market presence in the
Americas and Europe through direct sales, business development, trade show participation, and collaboration
with other smart grid market leaders. He heads Spirae's project and proposal development activities and was
instrumental in achieving the Fort Collins "FortZED" project's selection for the Department of Energy's
Renewable and Distributed Systems Integration program. Jeff represents Spirae at notable industry
conferences and regularly presents in panel discussions on smart grid related project activities. Jeff holds
a BS degree in mechanical engineering from North Carolina State University.
